    • Program Review--for alumni and student surveys
    • Other Surveys of a variety of types
    • Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes using exams with questions linked to expected learning outcomes.
    • Quizzes and exams associated with courses
Advantages
  • Surveys and/or exams can be developed and administered remotely
  • "Certificate of Completion" can be generated for takers, or can be taken anonymously
  • Images and html codes can be imbedded in the exams and surveys
  • Surveys and exams can be saved, revised, and reused
  • Data capture and storage is immediate
  • Security controlled by login ID and password codes
  • Real time data summaries are produced
  • Rapid data export for analysis by other software packages such as EXCEL
  • Archive is electronic
Disadvantages
  • Clunky interface for constructing quizzes & surveys
  • Only summary data are available
  • Students need web access for exams or surveys
